About The Book
Truth is in the Heart is a collection of soul-deep verses that explore wisdom, compassion, love, and awakening. Each poem is a breath of truth—unfiltered, unafraid, unforgettable.
These poems navigate the sacred and the everyday, from the quiet beauty of awareness to the harsh realities of the world around us. With honesty and moments of self-aware humor, Garcia explores love, loss, ego, and freedom, showing us that truth is not about escaping ourselves, but fully living our lives. Rooted in Buddhist thought but centered in personal Buddhist thought but centered in personal experience, this is poetry that touches the heart and lingers like a quiet blessing.
“Finding truth is my first thought. Writing about truth has to be from personal, genuine experience, study, and meditation insight. In a way, I’m not writing anything new. What I write has been taught for many centuries. In some respects, I really can’t take credit. This book is an offering. Understand you don’t have to be a virtuoso to make beautiful music…A.G.”
